Our focus
Most of our work has a cross-border element. An overseas investor needs the right entry route and approvals. A foreign law firm needs Indian-law diligence and a local team on a multi-country deal. An arbitral award made in Singapore or London needs to be enforced against assets in India. An Indian company acquiring abroad needs its outbound investment structured and reported correctly.
We handle these matters end to end, working with independent counsel in any jurisdiction where we are not yet qualified.
What we stand for
Clear advice. Our advice states a view and the risks attached to it, in language a board or an investment committee can act on.
Senior responsibility. Every matter has a named senior lawyer who reviews the work and stays accountable for it.
Professional standards. Our advocates practise under the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules, and every lawyer who joins us in another jurisdiction will practise under the rules of that jurisdiction.
