We practise Indian law. That is the whole of our licence and the whole of our expertise, and it is precisely why international clients and international counsel instruct us. A firm that claims to practise everywhere practises nothing in particular, and the general counsel who has been through that once does not repeat it.
What we have built instead is a set of corridors. Each is led by a partner who owns it, who knows the regulators, the deal patterns and the counsel worth calling in that region, and who is awake while the client is. The corridors run to Europe, the United Kingdom and Ireland, ASEAN and Singapore, the Middle East, the Americas and Africa, and they carry work in both directions.

A regulated pathway, not an aspiration
The Bar Council of India amended the Rules for Registration and Regulation of Foreign Lawyers and Foreign Law Firms in India, 2022 in May 2025. The framework operates on reciprocity, and Indian advocates and Indian law firms are correspondingly eligible to register as foreign lawyers or foreign law firms abroad while retaining the right to practise Indian law at home.
