What we do
We act as India counsel to London and Dublin firms and to in-house teams. India-side execution on transactions led from the United Kingdom, including diligence, Indian law documentation and completion mechanics. Coordination of Indian proceedings where a dispute has an India front. Enforcement of English judgments and awards in India, including the reciprocating territory analysis that determines whether the creditor enforces or must sue afresh. Advice on Indian subsidiaries, from governance and director exposure through to employment and data. Indian regulatory investigations affecting a United Kingdom parent, and the reporting a listed parent will need. On the outbound side we advise Indian businesses acquiring or establishing in the United Kingdom and Ireland on the Indian regulatory and exchange control side of the structure.
